Moments of the Night

As I lay by this silent river, gazing at the stars above;
I listen to the sounds of darkness,
and the cries of people who are without love.

A burning desire of passion rises over me,
and I reach into the night, but no love is there,
I clench my hand and squeeze the air,
and lay here alone without my beloved.

Wondering at the stars twinkling in the sky,
I glance down at my soul that needs to try, to love.
My mind drifts to the light shining from the moon,
I remember the love I lost, and why I Lost it too soon!

I raise my hands to my eyes and wipe away the tears that have already
dried; oh, Lord; did I really try?
I give the hands of pain, fingers without meaning,
wrists of misery that want to capture the love of life.

Is this the reason that she is gone? No life to have, No life to give?
Tell me the answer, God? I am lost again; I need a friend!
Sleep has ridden me of these sad memories,
for awhile, and my mind is far away. Will love find me tomorrow?
I cannot say! Will I have the meaning to live, Lord?

Wish

Left in the middle of qualm
With a lot of question inside
I just wish. . .
In my longing of you
I keep that wish inside of my mind
For someday that we'll together
I don't know. . .
Why the time goes very slowly
I just recognize that my tear
Was shed when I'm missing you
Don't you ever understand?
What the feel inside
And now I'm here. . .
I sit on my pray
I'm wishing that someday
That feel will grow inside of you
The feel that make you appreciate
For my arrival in your days

If I could grant you some wishes they would be.
When you are lonely, I wish you unconditional love.
When you are confused, I wish you abundance of faith.
When you are down, I wish you joy.
When you are mad, I wish you peace.
When you are weary, I wish you patience.
When you are stressed, I wish you gentleness.
When you are distraught,I wish you goodness.
When you are lack control, I wish you temperance
When you are proud, I wish you meekness.
